Inspiring you to flow with the momentum of life
MEET MEG!
Founder & Teacher of Momentom Yoga
Momentom Yoga came to life in 2021. My love of yoga has developed over the past 11 years and I wouldn't be who I am now without yoga. My aim is to create a safe space for you to practice, so you can feel supported on your journey and find connections with like-minded people in the community.
My classes are creatively sequenced, with clear cues to move you through each posture safely, enabling you to build strength, flexibility, endurance, balance and calm the mind. I like to teach a holistic practice of yoga, including moments for pranayama, meditation, asana and philosophy.
I encourage you to explore, adapt and be playful during your yoga practice. Develop strength in mind and body, while allowing kindness, compassion and honesty to be at the heart of your practice. I believe there are many lessons we can learn on our mats, that can serve us well every day.
Momentom Yoga was inspired by the ever-present change in the universe, movement of breath and the body, and the sacred mantra 'Om'. The symbol in my logo takes inspiration from Natarajasana, Dancer's pose. A symbol of the continuous cycle of creation and destruction, flowing with the momentum of life.
The intention of my offering is to connect breath and movement in a vinyasa yoga practice, to enhance physical and mental health and wellbeing. I believe in practicing for a sustainable future, so all our props are eco-conscious.
I look forward to meeting you on the mat!

KIND WORDS FROM THOSE WHO HAVE PRACTICED WITH ME
Meg teaches a beautiful vinyasa flow. Great sequencing, and lovely direction. I really enjoyed the class and can't wait for next week!
Teegan
Meg has a calm and welcoming energy. I had never tried yoga before and Meg's practice made me feel welcomed and accepted from the very beginning. Meg teaches in a way that allows anyone of any level to be able to participate, which is incredible! I look forward to yoga each week, as it has allowed me to really take time to slow down and focus in on my own body, breath and movement.

Yoga last night with Meg was literally everything I could have asked for. Sometimes it's just nice to be a student, rather than teacher.
Teags Lee
Meg is always ready to surprise us with something new to learn and I really enjoy practicing different breathing techniques.

This has by far been the best activity for my daughter. It has helped her so much with her emotions and she loves going.

NEW TO YOGA?
Some things to know:
You will need to bring your own mat.
Wear suitable clothing for an exercise class.
Please arrive 10 minutes before class to settle in so you don't disturb the class once in progress.
Please leave your shoes at the door.
Come to class on a fairly empty stomach, eat 2 hours before.
Yoga is for everybody. Everyone is at a different point on their journey, and it is best to start at the beginning to learn techniques to build an accomplished practice. We keep class sizes small, so we can connect with you on your yoga journey.
Practice at your own pace, stop and rest when you need to.
